Camco and the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management attain accreditation asconsultancy partner to the Carbon Disclosure Project
Camco International Limited (‘Camco’, AIM:CAO), a global developer of and advisor on emission reductions and clean energy projects has announced today that it has become an accredited consultancy partner to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) in the UK.
CDP, launched in 2000, collates and publishes information on the greenhouse gas emissions and climate change strategies of some 3,000 organisations in 60 countries around the world. The data is used in decision-making by institutional investors, corporations, and policymakers.
Dave Worthington, Director, UK Advisory at Camco commented on the accreditation: "Camco has a long track record of providing strategic, commercial, and technical expertise to its clients. We are extremely pleased and honoured to have been chosen to become a CDP consultancy partner. The accreditation is also recognition of the work that Camco’s Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management (ECCM) has done in pioneering greenhouse gas emissions assessment and reporting, and Camco’s advice on energy efficiency and low carbon energy strategies."
Paul Dickinson, CEO of CDP commented: "We are delighted to welcome Camco as the
Carbon Disclosure Project Consultancy Partner. Many of Camco’s clients already disclose through CDP, scoring highly in the CDP Leadership Index, and we are confident that, especially given Camco’s international reach and wealth of technical expertise, they will continue to help CDP disclosing companies to improve their carbon reporting and performance."
